A popular NZ bred onion variety. Easy to grow. Excellent variety for storing over autumn and winter, hence the name "long keeper". Choose a well-drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frost, sow direct where to grow in a well-prepared seedbed or container. Sow seeds 1 cm apart, in rows 30 cm apart to a depth of 1 cm.
