How To Sow:
Choose a sheltered, well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frosts, sow directly in well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 15 cm apart, in rows 75 cm apart and to a depth of 3 cm. When seedlings are 5-10 cm high, thin them to 30 cm apart.
Seedling Care:
Keep the seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period (7-14 days). Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Hints and Tips:
Squeeze kernels, if the juice is milky, cobs are ready to pick. To harvest, simply twist the cobs away from the plant.
