How To Sow:
Choose a well drained site in full sun/part shade. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sprinkle seeds on soil surface and cover to a depth of 1 cm. When large enough, thin or transplant them to 25 cm apart.
Keep trays or seedbed evenly moist during the germination period (7-14 days). Apply vegetable fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Hints and Tips:
Cut leaves any time for fresh use. For drying, pick leaves as flowers begin to open.
